5.2. Installing a Template

Assuming you want to create a template and then use it to export invoices, here's what you have to do:

  1. Create the template

Use this guide to create the template and make sure it has the extension ftl (Fanurio TempLate). Fanurio uses this information to scan for templates in a defined folder.

You can change the folder where Fanurio keeps its template files from:

    • Tools » Options on Windows

    • Fanurio » Preferences on Mac

    • Edit » Preferences on Linux

  2. Copy the template to the templates folder

Fanurio cannot use your template if you don't put it in the right folder. To quickly access the templates folder, go to File » Show Templates. A window with all the template files will appear.

  3. Export the invoice

Select an invoice and then click the Export button. In the Export Invoice dialog that will appear, select your template from the templates combo box and press Export.
