All users sync their apps with the server by accessing File | Synchronize from the menu.

This will ensure that all data is uploaded to the server before the update. If it's not synced before the update, it may not be possible to sync it after the update if the server and the apps have different versions. A warning will be displayed in such cases.

All users close their apps by accessing File | Exit on Windows, Fanurio | Quit on macOS, and File | Quit on Linux from the menu.

The server administrator stops the server.

If the server is run as a desktop app, it can be closed by accessing File | Exit on Windows, Fanurio | Quit on macOS, and File | Quit on Linux from the menu.

The server administrator installs the new version on the server and starts it.

All users install the new version and run it.

If the new version has a different database structure, local repositories will be reset and data will be downloaded again from the server.

Reset username and password

Go to Account » Account Settings and set your password as an empty text. If your username is not admin, click the username field three times to enable it and then enter admin.

Register server license

Go to Help » License Registration to register the new standalone license key. If your repository is open, Fanurio will close it and switch to standalone mode. The open repository window will be displayed.

The server features will no longer be available and you will no longer be able to connect to it from other computers.

Open repository

Click Open to open the repository.

Uninstall application from other computers

Uninstall the application from other computers because it will no longer be able to connect to the server.
